The total number of toys collected as part of this project, including a partner scheme, was 4,000, equating to around 4 tonnes.
Everyone involved was overwhelmed by the generosity of people in Essex. Another great consequence of the scheme was that relatively few toys were unable to be passed on, making this a project hugely successful for the environment and the community.
