Maldon's Money Saving Food Challenge prize draw.
Prize
10 winners will each be able to choose a voucher worth up to £100 for one of these local attractions:
- Madison Heights
- Colchester Zoo
- Mrs Salisbury’s Tea Room
- Potters Resorts Spa
- A Maldon’s Salty Sea Dog walking tour of Maldon for two people
- A year’s garden waste collection
- Bulky Waste collection
- Maldon Escape Rooms
- Crouch Ridge Estate vineyard
- Sail barge cruise from Maldon Quay
All prizes have been kindly sponsored by SUEZ recycling and recovery UK.
Please note that winning participants are also bound by the respective organisation's terms and conditions for the voucher that they select.
Entry deadline
All activities and prize draw entries must be submitted by Monday 13 October 2025.
Any entries received after this date will not be considered.
Entry mechanism
To enter, participants must sign up and subscribe to Maldon’s Money Saving Food Challenge by Monday 8 September 2025. Subscribing will give participants a single entry into the prize draw.
Participants may receive additional entries into the prize draw throughout the challenge by:
- completing the opening survey [one additional entry]
- participating in one of the weekly activities and submitting an entry online where relevant [one additional entry per activity – four total]
- completing the closing survey [one additional entry]
Each participant can have a maximum of seven entries into the prize draw.
Participants should use the same email address for each prize draw submission to ensure entries are tracked and logged appropriately.
Eligibility
This competition is open to all residents of Maldon District aged 16 and over.
Winner selection
The winners will be selected at random and contacted by email by Love Essex by Friday 31 October 2025. The more entries a participant submits, the more chances to win.
Winners must respond to the notification email with confirmation of their preferred prize from the above list of options within two weeks. Failure to do this will result in the prize being withdrawn and re-allocated.
Winners may also be asked to confirm they are a resident of Maldon by providing their home address.
Terms and conditions
By entering this competition, participants agree to the terms and conditions. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Essex County Council reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition at any time.
Essex County Council (ECC) is the controller of the personal information you provide to us. The personal information collected when you email us will be used by ECC for the administration and evaluation of Maldon’s Money Saving Food Challenge and deleted after 12 months.
