Recycling centre bookings
A booking process is in place at all 21 Essex County Council recycling centres.
Blue Badge holders, pedestrians and cyclists are not required to make a booking.

Booking is free, quick and easy, just:
- Choose a site
- Choose a slot
- Choose a time
- Enter your details
- Confirm your booking
We will then send you a confirmation email. You may be asked to show your booking confirmation and proof of address at the site.

The booking process was trialled for all vehicles at all sites from March to December 2023. A decision was taken on 27 February 2024 to keep the booking process permanently.
