We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help Essex residents waste less and recycle more. All we ask is that you volunteer for a minimum of 15 hours over a year and have plenty of enthusiasm to improve your local community and environment.
What you can do as a WasteBuster
There are many different ways you can get involved as a WasteBuster volunteer, and many waste reduction and recycling topics you can share your knowledge and experience on with other residents in Essex.
- Promote home composting, reuse and Love Food Hate Waste at local events
- Talk to community groups about how to reduce their waste and recycle correctly
- Help out with a variety of activities from composting workshops to running your own clothes swap
- Assist with crafts and upcycling sessions
- Write content for social media
- Anything that suits your skills or helps you follow your passion
