Celebrate Reusable Nappy Week 2025

Reusable Nappy Week, running from Monday 28 April to Sunday 4 May, is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about cloth nappies. Whether you're already a user eager to share the benefits, or you're considering them for your new baby, this week is perfect for discovering and sharing your experiences and information.
Benefits of cloth nappies
There are many benefits to using cloth nappies for you, your baby and the environment:
Save money
Reusable nappies cost around £200, compared to up to £1000 for disposables throughout infancy. Even with washing costs, you save money.
Benefit your baby's bottom
Disposable nappies can contribute to nappy rash due to chemicals, fragrances, and plastics. Cloth nappies are gentler on your baby's skin.
Reduce waste
Each child uses about 5,000 nappies, all of which end up in the bin as they cannot be recycled. Cloth nappies significantly reduce this waste and likelihood of a smelly bin.
Help the environment
Disposable nappies take around 450 years to decompose, releasing harmful gases. Cloth nappies produce minimal waste and can be used time and time again.
Find what works for you
You don't have to switch completely to make a difference. Consider part-time use, such as:
- at home
- at night
- once a day
Offers and discounts
During Reusable Nappy Week, look out for discounts from nappy retailers. It's a great time to try cloth nappies at a lower cost.
Don’t forget, we offer a £30 refund for families who spend £30 or more on both new or preloved cloth nappies, or hire a trial kit. Purchases from up to 12 months ago are eligible.
Where to shop
Some great places to take a look and shop are:
