Waste Less Challenge prize draw.

Prize

Ten winners will each receive a £100 voucher to a Colchester attraction or business, from these options:

• Colchester Zoo
• Colchester Castle
• Colcheco refill shop
• Mercury Theatre
• Leisure World
• Colchester Climbing Project

Entry deadline

All entries must be submitted by Sunday 26 October 2025.

Entry mechanism

To enter, participants must sign up to the Waste Less Challenge by Sunday 31 August 2025. This will give participants one entry into the prize draw.

Participants may receive extra entries into the prize draw throughout the eight-week challenge by:

• completing the pre-challenge survey [one additional entry]
• submitting an action/story online [one additional entry per submission, with a maximum of three additional entries]
• completing the post-challenge survey [one additional entry]

Each participant can have a maximum of six entries into the prize draw.

Eligibility

This competition is open to residents of Colchester City aged 16 and over. 

Winner selection

The winners will be selected at random by the Love Essex team. The winners will be contacted by email by the Love Essex team by Friday 31 October 2025.

Terms and conditions

By entering this competition, participants agree to the terms and conditions. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Essex County Council reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition at any time.
